Barraclough Student Houses specialises in letting quality student accommodation in Loughborough. We pride ourselves on offering a high standard of houses and aim to provide a fair and friendly service for our students.

All of the houses listed are managed by the Barraclough family who have over 30 years experience of renting to students in Loughborough. We run a highly respected service with all the benefits of a family business.

Rent Arrangements:

All houses let on a half-price 6 week summer retainer.

As part of our flexible and personal family-run service we offer
Loughborough students a choice of rental options from £53 per week.

As a group, students can decide on one of the following:

Accommodation features:

Fully compliant to all gas, electricity and fire regulations
Gas appliances Corgi tested and electricity certification issued
Three-storey houses are all registered as Houses for Multiple Occupation (HMO)
British Gas 3-star Service, inclusive of drainage and plumbing cover
Full gas central heating
Burglar alarms
Fire alarms wired to mains power
Double glazed throughout
Well decorated and fully furnished with double beds
Maintained to a high standard and fully cleaned before start of academic year
All bedrooms networked for computer access
Well equipped kitchen including microwave and washing machine

Option A Rent Only Accommodation (covers weekly rent and water rates)

Option B All Inclusive Accommodation (covers weekly rent, gas, electricity and water rates)

For students who choose Option B, we allocate an amount to cover the cost of the gas, electricity and water bills.
If the total bills are lower than the amount charged, we will refund the difference at the end of your contract.
Groups whose total bills are over the specified amount will have to cover the difference. We will provide students
with copies of all bills as we receive them so you know how much you are using.

There are no admin or hidden fees. All we ask for is a £100 fully returnable retainer per student when the tenancy agreement is signed. The full amount is returned when you move in.
